Is Your Teen Ready for Life on Their Own?

Sending your teen out into the wild world can be daunting.

So you start to worry…

😳 Are they ready to face life’s challenges without the protection of living under your roof?

😳 Will they get themselves into trouble and not know where to turn for help?

😳 Are they ready to navigate adult relationships?

😳 What if they get sick or struggle with depression or anxiety?

And the stats aren’t good…

Sixty one percent of college students self-report that they’re not prepared for the transition to college. I know many students who’ve developed anxiety disorders, depression, and addiction. These were all good kids from loving homes. The parents of all of these students told me the same thing: “I wish I had prepared them more for life before they left home.”

These stats are terrifying. And when you look at the world through the eyes of a parent, it can seem like an intimidating and scary place.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can confidently send your teen out into the world fully prepared to face challenges and live a great life. School got them ready academically. And you’ve worked hard covering the basics.

Now it’s time to dig a little deeper and equip your teen with the emotional and relational skills that will help them thrive.

You need the right resources and a good plan. And I’m here to help.
